Trevor Zimmerman is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Unless, a venture capital firm focused on transforming traditional industries through applied science and engineering. Prior to establishing his current fund, he served as the Managing Partner of Farmore Capital Group and co-founded the early-stage investment vehicle Blackhorn Ventures. His technical engineering background includes designing high-performance batteries for the U.S. Navy and developing radioactive wastewater treatment systems deployed at Fukushima Daiichi and the Y-12 National Security Complex. Zimmerman holds two patents for carbon nanopipes and submersible radionuclide filters, supported by a Master of Science in environmental engineering from Clemson University and executive training from the MIT Sloan School of Management. He currently focuses his investment strategy on funding emerging technology startups operating across the artificial intelligence, advanced robotics, and sustainable energy sectors that demonstrate responsible business practices.
