Trip Hofer

Trip Hofer is a Venture Partner at .406 Ventures and the Chief Executive Officer of healthcare technology portfolio company Redox. Before assuming his current roles in 2023, he served as the CEO of Optum Behavioral Solutions, the largest mental health services provider in the United States. He previously led virtual care provider AbleTo as CEO, guiding the company through its acquisition by Optum in 2020, and held executive leadership positions at CVS Health managing its Accordant and Novologix divisions. Earlier in his career, he worked in strategic roles at UnitedHealth Group and Booz Allen Hamilton, and he holds a bachelor's degree from St. Lawrence University alongside a Master of Business Administration from the Yale School of Management. Hofer currently leverages his decades of executive operational leadership to evaluate early-stage healthcare investments and scale emerging health technology ventures.
