Turja Chowdhury

Turja Chowdhury is the Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Village Labs, a decentralized identity and data infrastructure startup based in San Francisco, California. Prior to establishing the seed-funded company in early 2024, he worked as a Software Engineer at Coinbase, where he focused on early blockchain development and applied cryptography. At Village Labs, Chowdhury is currently leading the engineering efforts for the company's privacy-focused Web3 infrastructure, which is scheduled for a beta product launch in the first quarter of 2025. He is an active contributor to open-source software projects within the broader Ethereum ecosystem and recently presented his work on decentralized systems at the Devcon 7 conference in Bangkok in November 2025. His technical background primarily centers on building secure, decentralized architectures and advancing privacy-preserving technologies for the next generation of internet infrastructure.
