Tushar Nair

Tushar Nair is the Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer at Harper, an AI-native commercial insurance brokerage. As the technical leader of the firm, he is responsible for driving the overarching technology strategy and product development initiatives for the platform. Harper recently secured early-stage validation by participating in the highly competitive Y Combinator Winter 2025 cohort, where the company focused on scaling its insurtech solutions. Before establishing his current venture, Nair built a foundational background in financial services and enterprise technology during his previous tenure at Goldman Sachs. He subsequently expanded his startup execution capabilities by working as a technical professional at Poolit, where he contributed to the development of marketplace and peer-to-peer financial models. Nair currently focuses on leveraging machine learning and modern software engineering principles to modernize commercial insurance distribution and streamline complex fintech operations.
