Tyler Williams

Tyler Williams is the Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of BuildBuddy, a developer productivity platform based in San Francisco, California. Founded in 2019 and backed by Y Combinator as part of its W20 batch, the 15-employee technology startup specializes in enterprise-grade tools designed to enhance the open-source Bazel build system. Prior to launching BuildBuddy, Williams spent seven years working as a Staff Software Engineer at Google, where he gained extensive experience in software engineering and large-scale developer infrastructure. Earlier in his professional career, he held a technical engineering role at The Echo Nest and earned his undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Northwestern University.
