Valentina Terranova

Valentina Terranova is a Managing Partner at Draper Cygnus based in Argentina, where she oversees deal flow generation, portfolio development, and investor relations. Prior to her current venture capital role, she founded the Embarca Accelerator in 2017 to support early-stage regional founders. Terranova has backed numerous pre-seed and seed-stage companies across Latin America and the United States, including notable investments in Auth0, Satellogic, Stamm, Lemon, and Skyloom. Beyond her direct investment activities, she serves as a board member for Endeavor Cuyo through Endeavor Argentina and holds a board seat with the Argentine Venture Capital Association. She has been recognized four consecutive times from 2021 to 2024 as a LAVCA Top Woman Investor in Latin America. Terranova maintains a primary focus on funding deep-tech startups that are developing advanced scientific and complex engineering solutions for global markets.
