Vanessa Larco

Vanessa Larco is the Managing Partner at Signal Ventures in San Francisco, California, where she leads early-stage investments in artificial intelligence, climate tech, and frontier technologies. Before entering venture capital, she served as Vice President of Engineering at the autonomous trucking company Nauto and held software engineering leadership roles at Electronic Arts and Telltale Games. At Signal Ventures, Larco has backed more than 20 startups, recently co-leading a $15 million Series A funding round for the artificial intelligence startup ClimaTech in March 2025. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology and frequently speaks on technology ethics at events like the World Economic Forum in Davos. Her current focus centers on leveraging her technical engineering background to advise high-impact enterprise software and machine learning companies on scalable growth strategies.
