Varun Srinivasan

Varun Srinivasan is an early-stage startup investor and technology entrepreneur based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Prior to his current investment activities, he served as a Director of Engineering at Coinbase, where he helped scale the prominent cryptocurrency exchange's technical infrastructure during a period of rapid user growth. He also co-founded Sound.xyz, a Web3 music platform that successfully raised $20 million in a Series A funding round led by Andreessen Horowitz to help independent artists monetize their work through digital collectibles. Earlier in his career, Srinivasan spent time as a software engineer at Microsoft, building foundational enterprise products before transitioning into the decentralized finance and blockchain sectors.
