Vasudev Bailey

Vasudev Bailey is a Partner at Artis Ventures, where he focuses on early-stage investments in novel health and life sciences companies. Prior to his current role, he served as a Venture Partner at the firm, co-founded and served as general manager of the GLG Institute, and worked as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company. He currently sits on ten corporate boards, including Eko, Aether, and IDbyDNA, and has led significant venture capital investments in startups such as Freenome and Climax Foods. Bailey holds a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, where he authored over thirty scientific papers and secured four provisional patents related to cancer detection. His professional background combines deep technical expertise in nanotechnology with strategic venture capital experience to scale breakthrough biotechnology and healthcare innovations globally.
