Victor Jacobsson

Victor Jacobsson is a Stockholm, Sweden-based active investor and major shareholder who previously co-founded the fintech company Klarna. He established the buy now, pay later platform in 2005 alongside Sebastian Siemiatkowski and Niklas Adalberth following an entrepreneurship competition at the Stockholm School of Economics. The enterprise subsequently expanded its operations to serve 114 million consumers and 850,000 merchants globally. Although he departed from his operational duties in 2012, Jacobsson has continued to increase his equity position through special purpose vehicles, utilizing right of first refusal provisions to amass a stake that reportedly exceeds eight percent.
