Vijay Nagappan

Vijay Nagappan is a Partner at MHS Capital based in the San Francisco Bay Area. He currently serves on the board of directors for more than eight technology startups, holding active governance roles at companies including Outreach, Plotly, and Zenput. As an active venture capital investor, he targets disruptive technology and financial services companies across pre-seed to Series A stages, recently participating in funding rounds for Farmblox in July 2024 and Auto Hauler Exchange in February 2025. Prior to joining MHS Capital in 2010, he worked at Evercore Partners, where he advised corporate clients on mergers, acquisitions, fundraising, and joint ventures. His early operational career involved business development at Wired Gamez and executing retail forecasting algorithms at AND1. Nagappan leverages his combined background in corporate advisory and early-stage startup operations to guide emerging technology platforms.
