Vijay Patel

Vijay Patel is the Managing Partner of CVS Health Ventures and Vice President of Enterprise Business Development at CVS Health. Before co-founding this corporate venture fund, he worked as an investment professional at Bain Capital and HIG Growth Partners, building over a decade of experience at the intersection of finance and healthcare. After joining the Boston Digital Innovation Lab in 2015, he structured the organization's first connected health partnerships and served on the COVID-19 Task Force to coordinate testing and vaccination initiatives. He holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Pennsylvania's Jerome Fisher Program in Management and Technology and an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management. Patel currently leads strategic investments in digital health technologies, managing limited partner commitments and executing minority growth equity deals to improve healthcare accessibility, affordability, and simplification.
