Vikul Goyal

Vikul Goyal is the Founder and Managing Director of Bimaplan, an insurtech startup based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. At Bimaplan, he oversees strategy and operations for a team of approximately 30 employees, having recently secured $2.5 million in pre-Series A funding to scale the platform. Before launching Bimaplan in 2020, Goyal served as the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of CarCrew, an online automotive marketplace that he led from 2016 until its acquisition by the TVS Group. His earlier career includes corporate roles as Head of Strategy at Craftsvilla, an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at GSF India, and an Investment Professional at Bessemer Venture Partners. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BTech in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Guwahati. Goyal currently focuses on developing affordable micro-insurance products targeting underserved consumer demographics across the broader Indian market.
