Vinay Menda

Vinay Menda is the Co-Founder and President of Blank Street Coffee and Managing Partner at Reshape Ventures, based in New York City. After relocating from Dubai to attend New York University in 2011, he partnered with Issam Freiha to establish Reshape Ventures directly from their college dorm rooms. Through this early-stage venture capital fund, Menda deployed more than $150 million across over 100 consumer and real estate technology startups, securing investments in prominent portfolio companies such as Sweetgreen, Reddit, and Sonder. In the summer of 2020, he transitioned into retail operations by launching Blank Street Coffee, scaling the small-format cafe chain from a single cart to over 100 locations across the United States and the United Kingdom markets. His current professional focus centers on identifying scalable consumer technology trends and operating high-growth specialty hospitality ventures.
