Vincent Cheung

Vincent Cheung is the Managing Director of Pivotal bioVenture Partners and the Chief Executive Officer of Nan Fung Group, based in Hong Kong. He co-founded Pivotal bioVenture Partners in 2017, launching the firm with a $301 million debut fund to target therapeutics, medical devices, and diagnostics. As Chairman of Nan Fung Life Sciences, he oversees biotech venture investments across the United States and China while also serving as the founder and Chairman of the Hong Kong Life Sciences Society. Before joining Nan Fung Group in 2009, Cheung previously worked as a Vice President at both Barclays Capital Asia Limited and Citigroup Global Markets Asia Limited. He holds an honors degree in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of California, Berkeley, effectively combining his scientific education with institutional finance experience to direct global life sciences investments.
