Vishy Venugopalan

Vishy Venugopalan is the Managing Partner at Weave Growth Partners, a private equity firm he founded in 2019 to apply Silicon Valley growth strategies to midmarket businesses. In this role, he focuses on acquiring and scaling data-rich companies characterized by low fixed assets, high recurring revenues, and strong repeat business. Before establishing his current firm, Venugopalan served as a venture capital investor at Citi Ventures and other Silicon Valley firms, and he previously founded a chatbot customer service platform. His earlier career includes technology roles at Morgan Stanley, and he holds both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Engineering in Computer Science from MIT, alongside an MBA from the Wharton School. Venugopalan currently centers his investment approach on integrating advanced data science, descriptive analytics, and customer-centric technology into traditional private equity operations.
