Vivek Ranadive

Vivek Ranadive is the Founder and Managing Director of Bow Capital and the co-owner and Chairman of the Sacramento Kings, based in Sacramento, California. Prior to his current roles, he founded and served as the Chief Executive Officer of TIBCO Software and Teknekron Software Systems, specializing in real-time event processing and business intelligence. In 2013, he became the first Indian majority owner of a National Basketball Association franchise, subsequently leading a $1 billion investment into downtown Sacramento and purchasing the Sacramento River Cats minor league baseball team in 2022. He established the early-stage venture capital firm Bow Capital in 2016 through a partnership with the University of California Regents to invest in technology startups. Holding engineering degrees from MIT and an MBA from Harvard Business School, Ranadive focuses on bridging early-stage technology investments with institutional capital.
