Vivian De Ruijter

Vivian De Ruijter is a Senior Associate at Intuitive Ventures, where she focuses on venture capital investments in digital health, focal therapeutics, medical devices, and precision diagnostics. Before joining the firm in 2021, she served as a Senior Manager in the digital and technology consulting practice at Manatt, Phelps & Phillips. She previously held the role of Assistant Program Director for the UCSF-Stanford Pediatric Device Consortium, supporting the development of pediatric healthcare technologies. A physician by training, De Ruijter earned her MD from Erasmus University and completed post-doctoral training in Biodesign and Surgical Education at Stanford University. She maintains her academic ties by teaching the MED275B Biodesign course at Stanford University School of Medicine. Her current professional focus centers on advancing minimally invasive care and executing early-stage medical technology investment strategies across the healthcare sector.
