Vladimir Klimontovich is the co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Jitsu, an open-source data integration platform based in San Francisco, California. Prior to launching Jitsu, he spent five years as the co-founder, CTO, and later Chief Operating Officer of GetIntent, an artificial intelligence-powered advertising technology platform that was acquired in 2019. At Jitsu, he partnered with co-founder Peter Wysinski to participate in the Y Combinator Summer 2020 cohort and subsequently secured a $2 million seed funding round led by Costanoa Ventures. Under his technical leadership, the company's core open-source project, originally known as EventNative, achieved over 1,000 stars on GitHub prior to its official commercial launch in late 2020. Klimontovich leverages more than 15 years of software engineering experience to focus on developing scalable data infrastructure, machine learning platforms, and enterprise event collection solutions.
