Vojta Rocek

Vojta Rocek is a Partner at Presto Ventures and Presto Tech Horizons, based in Prague, Czech Republic. Before transitioning to venture capital in 2021, he co-founded Stories.bi, an augmented analytics startup that was recognized by Gartner and acquired by Workday within two years of its initial launch. In his current capacity, Rocek guides B2B software founders through strategy, sales, and exits, while helping deploy a €150 million fund across approximately 40 early-stage startups over a three-year period. He has been active in the technology sector since 2007, operating as an angel investor, building the largest community of data professionals in his region, and mentoring over 1,000 startups. His current investment focus centers on seed-stage deep tech, applied artificial intelligence, and resilience technologies across Central and Eastern Europe, the Baltics, Western Asia, and NATO-allied nations.
