Warren Lorenz

Warren Lorenz is a Venture Partner at Blockchain Founders Fund and the Managing Principal at TechMeetsTrader, where he focuses on early-stage cryptocurrency and Web3 investments. He also serves on the Board of Directors for CryptoStar, a publicly traded data center and cryptocurrency mining operator. Through TechMeetsTrader, Lorenz operates a hedge fund utilizing arbitrage trading strategies and has directed capital investments into more than twenty blockchain startups. Prior to his current venture capital roles, he participated in Batch 13 at 500 Startups in Mountain View, California, and successfully exited an educational technology company after scaling its operations from seven to 130 universities within twelve months. Additionally, he has built, licensed, and sold proprietary trading products to various institutional hedge funds and family offices. Today, Lorenz leverages his extensive entrepreneurial background to consult, build, and fund seed-stage blockchain enterprises.
