Warren Wang

Warren Wang is the co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Ember, an artificial intelligence startup based in San Francisco, California. Founded in 2022 and backed by Y Combinator as part of its Fall 2024 batch, the ten-person company has raised $13 million across three funding rounds to automate healthcare revenue cycle management. Under his technical leadership, Ember has developed integrations with major electronic health record systems like Epic and Oracle Health, generating over $60,000 in additional monthly revenue for its medical clients. Prior to Ember, Wang conducted explainable AI research at MIT CSAIL and collaborated with NVIDIA on medical AI applications for hospitals in Taiwan. Holding undergraduate and master's degrees in electrical engineering and computer science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, his current focus remains on bridging advanced machine learning research with practical medical billing automation.
