Waseem Daher

Waseem Daher is the Founder of Pilot, a financial technology company based in San Francisco, California. Under his leadership, the platform provides automated bookkeeping, tax compliance, and CFO services to more than 7,000 startup customers and has secured over $130 million in venture funding from prominent investors including Sequoia Capital. The enterprise recently expanded its operational capabilities by launching artificial intelligence-powered bookkeeping tools in 2024 and acquiring an independent tax software firm during the first quarter of 2026. Prior to establishing Pilot, Daher served as the Head of Finance at Pinterest and held early financial leadership roles at high-growth consumer technology companies such as DoorDash and Thumbtack. The University of Pennsylvania Wharton School alumnus currently focuses on developing scalable back-office operations, modernizing accounting workflows, and building automated financial infrastructure for emerging technology enterprises.
