Wee Peng Yeo

Wee Peng Yeo is a Partner at AMASIA based in Singapore, where he leads early-stage technology investments across Southeast Asia. Before joining his current firm, he served as a Managing Director at Golden Gate Ventures and held earlier institutional investment roles after graduating from the National University of Singapore. Throughout his venture capital career, he has participated in over 100 deals and backed notable regional unicorns, including Carousell and Aspire. At AMASIA, which closed a $150 million regional technology fund in 2024 and manages a portfolio of more than 50 companies, he recently co-led an investment in an artificial intelligence startup during the first quarter of 2025. His current focus remains on identifying and scaling high-growth enterprises within the fintech, enterprise software, consumer technology, and deep tech sectors across the broader Asian market.
