Wei Deng

Wei Deng is the Founder and CEO of Clipboard Health, a healthcare staffing platform based in San Francisco, California. Backed by Y Combinator, the company has expanded to serve over 1,000 healthcare facility customers across a dozen cities, achieving a tenfold revenue increase over an 18-month period. Previously, she was among the first ten employees at Sendwave, serving in roles including Head of Product and Chief Operating Officer before the remittance startup was acquired for $500 million. Earlier in her career, Deng worked as an Investment Banking Associate at Moelis & Company and practiced law at Davis Polk & Wardwell, where she advised on the $8.2 billion Chicago Tribune bankruptcy. Holding a Bachelor of Arts and a Juris Doctor from Yale University, her professional focus centers on scaling operations within the healthcare and financial technology sectors.
