Wende Hutton

Wende Hutton is a General Partner at Canaan Partners in Menlo Park, California, where she specializes in early-stage healthcare and biotechnology investments. Before joining Canaan, she served as a General Partner at Mayfield Fund, held senior marketing roles at GenPharm International and Nellcor, and earned an AB in human biology from Stanford University alongside an MBA from Harvard Business School. Her track record features notable exits including the initial public offerings of Chimerix and Dermira, alongside major acquisitions by pharmaceutical giants like Teva and Sanofi-Aventis.
