Whitney Haring-Smith

Whitney Haring-Smith is a Managing Partner at Anzu Partners in Washington, leading an investment firm managing over one billion dollars in assets across approximately forty portfolio companies. In this leadership role, he oversees private credit, software, and medical device investments, recently helping raise a 190 million dollar fund to scale breakthrough industrial and life sciences technologies. Previously, he served as a Principal at The Boston Consulting Group, specializing in global strategy for energy and industrial goods across the San Francisco, Seattle, and Hong Kong offices. As an entrepreneur, he founded the education technology startup College Abacus, serving as its board chairman until its successful corporate acquisition by ECMC during the year 2014. A former Rhodes Scholar, he holds a doctorate in politics from Oxford University alongside both his bachelor and master degrees from Yale University.
