Will Herman is a Boston-based entrepreneur, active angel investor, and fund advisor currently working with venture capital firms Bolt and One Way Ventures. As a serial entrepreneur, he previously founded and managed five distinct venture-backed companies, ultimately generating approximately $4 billion in total investor value through a series of initial public offerings, acquisitions, and buyouts. Transitioning into early-stage venture capital, Herman has built a diverse portfolio of more than 85 startup investments while actively advising 10 emerging technology businesses. He currently serves as a corporate director on the boards of JumpCloud and Pointillist, and operates as a dedicated startup mentor for the Techstars accelerator program. The Lehigh University mechanical engineering graduate also authored The Startup Playbook, reflecting his current professional focus on guiding early-stage founders through the complexities of venture building and scaling operations.
