William Kaiser is currently a Venture Partner at Colle Capital, an opportunistic early-stage technology venture fund. Alongside his investment role, he serves as a faculty member and the former Chair of the Electrical Engineering Department at UCLA, where he founded and co-directs the UCLA Wireless Health Institute. Earlier in his career, Kaiser developed advanced sensor technologies for commercial vehicles at Ford Motor Company and engineered critical systems for spacecraft, including the Mars Rover, at the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory. Additionally, he led early wireless sensor network development for various defense and environmental applications before co-founding Sensydia Corporation, a Colle Capital portfolio company producing internationally award-winning wearable diagnostic devices for organ function monitoring. His current professional focus centers on identifying promising early-stage technology investments while continuing to advance wearable diagnostics and wireless health technologies.
