William Meng is the Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer of ArchiLabs, an AI-powered architecture software startup based in the United States. The company, which operates with approximately two employees, participated in the Y Combinator Fall 2024 batch to develop an artificial intelligence copilot for architects and engineers. ArchiLabs specifically focuses on streamlining data center design by integrating advanced 3D modeling and Building Information Modeling technologies into existing commercial workflows. Prior to this venture, Meng worked as a software engineer at Facebook and operated an independent homebuilding business in Texas, where he developed a proprietary computer-aided design tool from scratch. He previously studied computer science and robotics as an undergraduate student at Carnegie Mellon University. His current focus centers on bridging software engineering with practical construction applications to automate complex architectural drafting and real estate development processes.
