Witney McKiernan

Witney McKiernan is a Principal at HealthQuest Capital based in the San Francisco Bay Area, focusing on growth-stage healthcare and medical device investments. Before joining the firm in 2022, she was an investor at KCK Group and accumulated 14 years of operational experience in the medtech sector. During this period, she developed market access and commercial strategies for more than 40 medical technologies. McKiernan began her career as an oncology nurse at UC San Francisco, having earned a bachelor's degree from Stanford University and a master's degree from UC San Francisco. A recipient of the Johnson & Johnson Promise of Nursing Award and a Kauffman Fellow, she manages a portfolio that includes Nomad Health and ThirtyMadison. Her current focus centers on leveraging her clinical and healthcare economics expertise to identify innovations that improve patient outcomes and delivery efficiency.
