Wouter Verhoeven is the Chief Executive Officer of Dualyx and a Venture Partner at BioGeneration Ventures (BGV), based in Naarden, The Netherlands. He joined the early-stage venture capital firm BGV in September 2021 and later assumed the chief executive role at Dualyx in May 2023, concurrently closing the biotechnology company's €40 million Series A funding round. Previously, Verhoeven served as Chief Business Officer at NBE-Therapeutics, where he directed corporate partnerships and was instrumental in the firm's $1.2 billion acquisition by Boehringer Ingelheim in December 2020. His earlier career includes a tenure as Head of Global Business and Corporate Development at mAbxience, following his graduation with a Master of Science in Technical Management from Delft University of Technology. Verhoeven currently focuses on advancing early-stage European biopharma investments and developing novel regulatory T-cell therapies for autoimmune diseases.
