Wyatt Lonergan

Wyatt Lonergan is a General Partner at VanEck Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm. Prior to assuming this role, he launched and served as the head of Circle Ventures in 2021, successfully leading the corporate venture arm for three years before departing in May. He subsequently co-founded VanEck Ventures alongside former colleague Juan Lopez, establishing a $30 million fund dedicated to backing early-stage startups operating across the fintech, artificial intelligence, and Web3 sectors. Under his leadership, the newly formed fund has already executed four initial investments, including strategic participation in a $15 million Series A funding round for Centrifuge and a $4 million seed round for Anzen. Lonergan currently focuses his professional efforts on identifying and scaling emerging technologies related to blockchain infrastructure, stablecoins, and tokenized real-world assets within the digital economy.
