Xiao Wang

Xiao Wang is the Managing Partner and cofounder of InnoSpring, a startup incubator and seed fund based in Santa Clara, California, bridging innovation between the United States and China. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biological sciences from Tsinghua University and a doctorate in biochemistry from the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. Before his current role, Wang gained extensive experience as an investor and vice president at Shanghai Genbase Biotechnology, alongside investment positions at Avant B Capital and Joy Capital. Through his early stage venture investing in the technology and biotech sectors, he has built an impressive portfolio featuring companies like Pluralsight, Akidolabs, and Plushcare. Furthermore, he actively supports emerging tech entrepreneurs as a dedicated mentor at the Alchemist Accelerator and maintains strong involvement with the Tsinghua Entrepreneur and Executive Club.
