Xin (Shirley) Feng

Xin (Shirley) Feng is a Managing Director at Sequoia Capital China based in Beijing, China. Before assuming her current position in 2022, she served as a Partner at the firm since 2015 and previously held investment roles at Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers China and the travel technology unicorn Qunar. Throughout her venture capital career, Feng has managed over $1 billion in investments across a portfolio of more than 50 companies, including the notable 2018 initial public offering of Meituan. The Tsinghua University computer science graduate, who spoke at TechCrunch Disrupt Beijing in 2023, recently led Sequoia China's participation in a $600 million funding round for the artificial intelligence startup MiniMax in 2024. She currently focuses on early-stage technology investments across the consumer internet, enterprise software, financial technology, and healthcare sectors throughout China and Southeast Asia.
