Yacov Nachmanovich

Yacov Nachmanovich is the Founder and Managing Partner of R136 Ventures, formerly known as Fort Ross Ventures, operating primarily out of Herzliya, Israel, with headquarters in Woodside, California. He brings over 20 years of institutional investment experience spanning private equity, asset management, and financial sector project development. Alongside partners like Victor Orlovski, his firm manages more than $400 million in assets across three funds, supporting a portfolio of over 40 technology companies that includes six unicorns. Nachmanovich has overseen more than 10 successful exits, highlighted by the notable acquisitions of Deci AI by NVIDIA, Granulate by Intel, and Rookout by Dynatrace. His current focus involves deploying $2 million to $20 million per deal into mid-to-growth stage startups, specifically Late Series A through Series C, specializing in artificial intelligence infrastructure, enterprise automation, and DevOps observability.
