Yang Tran

Yang Tran is a Partner at Zero Prime Ventures and a Venture Partner at Speedinvest, currently based in San Francisco, California. Prior to assuming his current partnership role in May 2024, he spent nearly five years at Speedinvest, serving as a Principal from October 2019 to May 2024. His earlier venture capital experience includes working as a Ventures Analyst at the Plug and Play Tech Center between October 2018 and September 2019, following a one-year tenure as an Analyst at Res Privata from July 2017 to June 2018. As an early-stage technology investor, Tran primarily targets engineer-led startups operating within data engineering, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and cloud infrastructure. His current professional focus remains on identifying and financing foundational enterprise software, developer tools, security platforms, and generative AI infrastructure companies across the United States and European markets.
