Yann LeCun is the Chief AI Scientist at Meta and is based in New York City, New York. Prior to joining Meta, he served as a researcher at Bell Labs and the NEC Research Institute, and he currently maintains a dual position as a Professor at New York University. Recognized as a foundational figure in deep learning, he received the 2018 Turing Award and has authored numerous publications resulting in an academic h-index exceeding 140.
