Yechiel Engelhard

Yechiel Engelhard is the Vice President of Digital Health at Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. and an active angel investor with Sky Ventures Group, currently based in Boston, Massachusetts. He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev before serving as the Chief Medical Officer for Israel's elite search and rescue Unit 669 from 2006 to 2009. Transitioning from clinical practice into the technology sector, Engelhard founded and operated multiple successful startups across both the advertising technology and digital health industries. Most notably, he established the digital health company Gecko, which he subsequently scaled and sold directly to Teva Pharmaceuticals in a multimillion-dollar acquisition finalized in 2019.
