Yi Jean Chow

Yi Jean Chow is an Investment Principal at Clean Energy Ventures based in the Silicon Valley area. Prior to this role, she served as an Investment Principal at Future Energy Ventures, the corporate venture capital arm of E.ON Energy, where she developed the fund's environmental, social, and governance methodology and held multiple board director positions. Chow, a CFA Charterholder, holds a bachelor's degree in chemistry and physics from Harvard University and a master's degree in energy economics and policy from University College London. At Clean Energy Ventures, she manages deal sourcing and due diligence for a portfolio of over 45 active hardware-focused cleantech companies targeting 75 gigatons of carbon dioxide mitigation by 2050. Her current focus centers on early-stage climate technology investments across industrial energy efficiency, building energy use, and the integration of distributed energy resources.
