Yoav Knoll

Yoav Knoll is a Principal at MizMaa Ventures and a Founding Partner at the defense-tech fund Kinetica. Following his service in an elite unit of the Israeli Air Force, he joined MizMaa in 2018 as an Analyst. He helped establish the firm's Israel office before advancing to Associate in 2019 and reaching his current Principal role in 2022. As an active venture capital investor, Knoll holds Board Observer positions at several emerging technology startups, including Autofleet, Loadmill, and Hyperspace. Through Kinetica, which is raising toward a $150 million investment vehicle, he recently backed Line 5 in a $20 million transaction marking the largest global defense seed round of 2025. His professional background and current venture focus center entirely on scaling early-stage Israeli innovation across the cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, and defense technology sectors.
