Yoav Shaked

Yoav Shaked is a venture capital investor and healthcare technology entrepreneur based in Israel who currently serves as a Partner at Sequoia Capital and the Independent Chairman of DarioHealth. Prior to these roles, he founded and led Y-Med, which was acquired by CR Bard, and held executive positions at ThermopeutiX and XTechnologies before its sale to Guidant. His extensive career spans over twenty years of operational and investment experience, with a primary focus on advancing medical devices, digital health platforms, and biotechnology. As a venture capital investor, Shaked has built a diverse portfolio of more than fifty technology startups, backing recognizable enterprises such as Lemonade, Moovit, Innovid, and Kenshoo. Furthermore, he serves on the boards of several prominent biotechnology and medical companies, including Endospan, Vibrant Gastro, and Orasis Pharmaceuticals, where he also chairs the board.
