Yotam Segev

Yotam Segev is the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Cyera, a cloud data security company currently based in New York City. Prior to establishing the enterprise software firm, he served as a cybersecurity leader within the Israel Defense Forces' elite Unit 8200, where he collaborated extensively with his future co-founder Tamar Bar-Ilan. Under his executive leadership, Cyera has rapidly scaled its commercial operations and secured more than $460 million in venture capital funding from prominent institutional investors, including Sequoia Capital, Accel, and Coatue Management. This significant financial backing propelled the organization to a $1.4 billion valuation by early 2024, establishing it as a unicorn in the highly competitive data protection sector.
