Yun-Fang Juan is the General Partner at Brighter Capital, an early-stage venture capital firm based in Cupertino, California. She established the $10.5 million family angel fund in 2020, utilizing personal savings and crowdsourced capital to invest in seed-stage startups across the renewable energy, biotechnology, social media, and healthcare sectors. Her active investment portfolio currently encompasses 47 companies, featuring early backing of prominent technology unicorns and public entities such as Reddit, Calm, MasterClass, Envoy, and Matterport. Prior to transitioning into venture capital, Juan worked as an early employee at Facebook before founding Fundastic, a small business financial-planning startup that was successfully acquired by Nav in 2015. She currently leverages her extensive operational experience and personal entrepreneurial background to provide strategic support and capital for early-stage founders navigating the complex initial phases of company building.
