Yusuke Miyazaki is a Principal at the venture capital firm ANRI based in Japan, where he oversees investments primarily focused on early stage biotechnology and healthcare startups. Raised in Osaka Prefecture, he holds a PhD in biology from Stanford University, where he conducted basic scientific research in the Wandless lab between 2009 and 2015. Following his academic tenure, Miyazaki transitioned into the corporate sector to work on technology discovery and alliances at the United States subsidiary of a Japanese pharmaceutical company. He subsequently advised on healthcare business development at a foreign consulting firm before joining ANRI in 2018 to specialize in scaling early stage biotechnology enterprises. Since joining the venture capital firm, he has executed eleven investments, including eight at the early funding stage, and provides strategic advice to portfolio companies such as the startup Craif.
