Zach Scheiner

Zach Scheiner is a Principal and Partner on the Investment Team at RA Capital Management, operating out of the San Francisco Bay Area. He directs both public and private healthcare investments for the firm and currently serves as a Board Director for five portfolio companies, including Exo Imaging, LENZ Therapeutics, Nkarta Therapeutics, SpyGlass Pharma, and Sydnexis. Prior to his transition into venture capital and investment management, he served as a Science Officer at the California Institute for Regenerative Medicine. His academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry from Yale University, followed by a doctorate in Neurobiology and Behavior from the University of Washington.
