Zachary Aarons

Zachary Aarons is a Partner at MetaProp Ventures and an Assistant Adjunct Professor at Columbia University. Since founding MetaProp in 2015, he has guided the firm to invest in 175 property technology companies, building upon his prior experience as an active angel investor with a portfolio of over 50 startups. Before establishing his current venture, Aarons worked as a Project Manager at the large-scale real estate development firm Millennium Partners and served as a Senior Associate at ENIAC Ventures. He began his career as an Analyst handling financial restructuring and mergers at Solomon Partners, later earning an MBA from Columbia Business School following his undergraduate degree in Ancient Studies at Brown University. His current investment focus centers on advancing real estate innovation by funding early-stage property technologies designed to improve overall affordability, sustainability, and resilience.
