Zaid Ashai

Zaid Ashai is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Nexamp and a Venture Partner at Point Judith Capital, based in Boston, Massachusetts. Before assuming his current executive roles, he served as a General Partner at Point Judith Capital and led various cleantech investments as a Kauffman Fellow at Good Energies. His earlier financial career includes managing technology equity investments at HarbourVest Partners and working as an investment banking analyst within the Credit Suisse Technology Group. Ashai holds dual MBA and MPA degrees from Harvard University alongside an AB from Brown University, and he has held board seats at more than five portfolio companies, including Retroficiency and MyEnergy prior to its acquisition by Nest. His professional background centers on scaling renewable energy infrastructure and directing venture capital toward early-stage solar and energy efficiency technologies.
