Zaz Floreani

Zaz Floreani is a General Partner at FirstMile Ventures based in Austin, Texas, where she spearheads the firm's pre-seed and seed investment efforts across the state. Before joining the three-partner fund in 2023, she served as a Principal at Next Coast Ventures, building an early-stage investment platform for a firm with over $500 million in assets under management. Her venture capital career is preceded by significant operating experience, including her tenure as Vice President of Corporate Development at Dropoff, where she executed three acquisitions that effectively doubled the company's revenue. Previously, Floreani worked as Head of Business Development at Spredfast, managing strategic partnerships with major technology platforms such as Meta and Twitter. She also served as an Entrepreneur in Residence at UT Austin. Today, her investment focus centers on early-stage software, marketplaces, and digital health.
