Zoubin Ghahramani

Zoubin Ghahramani is a Venture Partner at Ahren Innovation Capital, Vice President of Research at Google DeepMind, and Professor of Information Engineering at the University of Cambridge, based in Cambridge, United Kingdom. Prior to these positions, he served as the Chief Scientist and Vice President for AI at Uber following the ride-hailing company's successful acquisition of his machine learning startup, Geometric Intelligence. He was the founding Cambridge Director of the Alan Turing Institute and has published approximately 300 peer-reviewed research papers focused on artificial intelligence and data science. His extensive academic and professional background also includes research positions at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Carnegie Mellon University, and the University of Pennsylvania. Today, Ghahramani focuses on advancing deep tech and life sciences investments while guiding foundational machine learning research at the global enterprise level.
